Hello, my name is Tina Abraham, I hope to give you some background information on me, so that you may feel comfortable in reaching out. I am a conscientious psychotherapist, mindfulness trainer and artist on a lifelong quest to unravel the intricate tapestry of the human experience. My profound fascination with the inner workings of the human mind, the beauty of the natural world, and the shared humanity that unites us all has been the guiding force behind my career. With each step of my journey, I have strived to not only understand but to deeply connect with the complexities of human existence, empowering individuals to embark on their transformative paths.
As guiding philosophies, I have studied Buddhism, Christianity, Stoicism and Judaism for more than three decades. This spiritual journey has been marked by countless silent retreats that have gifted me with profound insights into the labyrinthine intricacies of the mind. My practice of mindfulness has not only deepened my appreciation for the human psyche but has also instilled within me an unshakable reverence for the profound connection between our conscious minds and our primal, instinctual nature—a connection that, when explored, reveals the very essence of our shared humanity.
Born and raised in Florida, I initially discovered the diversity of human experiences through the lens of my multicultural community. However, it was my experience living in the kaleidoscope of nationalities in the United Kingdom for 13 years and the vibrant culture of Madrid, Spain for 3 years, that truly expanded my horizons. These international sojourns broadened my understanding of the world and reinforced my unwavering belief that every person, regardless of their background or circumstances, carries within them a unique and invaluable story waiting to be heard. These personal experiences have fueled an intrinsic curiosity about the human condition, inspiring an unwavering belief in the extraordinary power of resilience and empathy. I have always been captivated by the intricacies of the human experience—whether it's the neutrality of daily living, the delicate hues of a setting sun, or the gentle caress of the wind.
Throughout my life, I have come to revere the profound wisdom found in our intuition and senses. It is my steadfast belief that the body acts as a silent witness, holding within it the narratives of our emotional and physical states. In recognizing this connection, my journey has consistently led me to create a safe and nurturing space for others to delve into the depths of their minds and navigate the multifaceted landscapes of trauma, anxiety, depression, and the shifting tides of life transitions.
My commitment to facilitating healing and self-discovery has driven me to pursue a Graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health and in various therapeutic modalities. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Psychedelic and Cannabis integration, and other therapeutic models. In my work, I recognize the tension between the unconscious mind's perceptions and the conscious world we experience. I aim to bridge this gap, providing you with a supportive environment where you can explore your inner landscape, heal, and ultimately thrive.
